The big punching came across the states with several big punchers in action. The biggest of those punchers was Jarrell Miller (8-0-1, 8) who stopped Jon Hill (6-5, 5) in the 3rd round of their bout. For Hill this was disappointingly his 5th stoppage loss and it seems clear, at least to us, that he hasn't the durability to be a Heavyweight boxer.
Another big puncher who scored a stoppage was Daniel Martz (10-1-1, 7) who stopped the chinny Dante Craig (20-19-1, 15) who has now been stopped 17 times himself. Martz's victory was one of two Heavyweight bouts on a card that also saw Jeremiah Karpency (10-0, 4) take a decision over Rubin Williams (29-23-1, 16) in a bout that went the scheduled 8.
Unfortunately for Nick Asberry (3-0, 2) it was discovered he doesn't hit as hard as expected as he was taken the distance by Raymundo Lopez (4-7, 2) who had suffered 3 stoppage defeats in his 10 previous bouts.
