Th biggest name in action was former world title challenger Danny Williams (46-21-0-1, 35) who scored an incredibly quick victory over the frankly hapless Martin Stensky (1-32) who suffered his 31 stoppage loss with an 87 second blow out defeat.
In the UK the unbeaten Andy Jones (3-0) extended his winning record with a clear victory over Lithuania's Imantas Davidaitis (2-7, 2). Davidaitis was dropped in the opening round though recovered and saw out the following rounds despite not winning any of them to lose a 40-35 decision. Interestingly this was the third successive bout that saw Davidaitis dropped and whilst we wouldn't say we are worried about him it does seem he's not got the best punch resistance.
Unbeaten Frenchman Franck Acho (3-0, 2) scored the best win of his career so far as he over-came David Spilmont (3-3, 2) who retired in the 5th round of a scheduled 6 rounder. Prior to this bout Spilmont had never been stopped inside the distance though oddly the result do continue his alternating win-loss record, a prediction is that Splimont wins his next contest.
The most obscure bout was in Uruguay as Yuberty Suarez Diaz (5-2, 2) out pointed the previously unbeaten Gabriel Antonio Damian Gerez (1-1, 1).
