The bout that jumps at us for this weekend is in Argentina as former WBO Cruiserweight champion Victor Emilio Ramirez (15-2-0-1, 12) returns to the ring for the first time in over 4 years. Ramirez, like mentioned a former Cruiserweight, will be returning to take on Thabiso Mogale (14-13-2, 9) in what really should be a mismatch considering the class of Ramirez who was a beast at his best.
Argentina isn't the only South American country expected to have Heavyweight action with Bolivia expected to host the rescheduled bouts featuring Billy Wright (41-4, 32) against Ricky Torrez (20-6-1, 12) and Saul Farah (44-17-3, 38) against Guido Santana (13-6-2, 9). Both of these were expected a few weeks ago though failed to happen for whatever reason.
There is also Heavyweight action expected in Paraguay as Javier Corrales (10-2-2, 9) fights a TBA opponent.
In all honesty TBA is the busiest man in the Heavyweight division this weekend. He's in Germany fighting the unbeaten Ali Ibrahim Kujaschewski (7-0, 7) and also in America fighting both Razvan Cojanu (7-1, 3) and Helaman Olguin (1-1, 1).
Thankfully there are some fully scheduled bouts. These will see Aziz Baran (3-0, 3) fighting against the debuting Mohamad Ali Sleimann (0-0) in Germany and Deon Elam (12-1, 6) fighting against Geovanni Sarran (4-6, 1) in a mismatch in the US.
