The most interesting bout of the night takes place in the US as Alonzo Butler (30-2-1-1, 22) battles against professional loser Dante Craig (20-19-1, 15) in what should be a very short lived affair. We're not expecting Craig to last any more than 2 or 3 rounds at most.
On the same card as the Butler/Craig fight is another Heavyweight bout which sees Jason Pettaway (14-1, 8) battle against the "stop or be stopped" Jon Hill (6-5, 5), who has only been the distance in one of his 11 bouts. It's hard to see Hill winning but if he has the crack his record indicates he may be dangerous for Pettaway.
On a different US card we get an odd looking fight as Ed Perry (18-5-2, 11) battles Efren Brown (11-9-1, 6). Perry is a 38 year old former Cruiserweight who hasn't fought since December 2010. Bron on the other hand is a 52 year old former Light Welterweight who returned to the ring last year after more than 12 years of inactivity. Very odd contest and one we can't imagine will be particularly fun to watch.
In the UK the unbeaten AJ Carter (6-0, 4) looks to continue his winning run as he takes on Plamen Nikolov (1-1-2, 1) in what looks like a gimme. Nikolov may look like the fall guy here but he did, unexpectedly, score a shock draw with Carter's countryman Dave Allen just a few weeks ago. The Bulgarian will certainly be trying to be a banana skin for a British fighter once again.
