Unfortunately the US bout isn't greats as the 20 fight veteran Efren Brown (10-9-1, 6) looks to score his latest victory as he takes on the very limited Robert Mendoza (0-6) who has been stoped in all 6 contests to date.
It's not just in the US that we get Heavyweight action but also the UK and Turkey. In fact it's in Turkery that we get the two best looking bouts as the unbeaten Agit Kabayel (6-0, 4) takes on the experienced and hard hitting Alexander Kahl (18-10-1, 16) and the debuting Umut Cankiran (0-0) fights journeyman Edgars Kalnars (23-25, 14). For Kabayel it's a clear step up and for Cankiran it's a very difficult debut so well done to both guys.
The UK Heavyweight bout is probably the worst of the day as winless pair James Oliphant (0-4-2) and Luke Martin (0-1-1) battle for their first victories. Last time out Martin was stopped in 2 rounds by David Howe whilst Oliphant dropped a close decision to Paul Drago. We'd certainly not be shocked if these two somehow fought to a draw here.
