In the US we get two shows with Heavyweight bouts.
For us the most notable US action is in New York where female Heavyweights clash with Sonya Lamonakis (8-1-2, 1) battling veteran Gwendolyn O'Neil (18-7-1, 7). Although this is for the US State female Heavyweight title it's also pretty much for the #2 ranking in the division behind Martha Salazar.
On the undercard of the big female clash is a contest between Eugene Russell (1-0, 1) and Emilio Salas (0-1) in very much a low level contest.
Although we view the New York main event as the biggest Heavyweight clash of the day it's fair to say that the biggest name is in action in Iowa as McCall is in action. Unfortunately for those expecting former world champion Oliver McCall it won't be the "Atomic Bull" but instead his son Elijah McCall (11-3-1, 10). McCall will face the hitting though unfortunately fragile Brad Gregory (12-6, 10) who has been stopped in all of his losses so far. We'd honestly be shocked if this one goes the distance.
In the UK the unbeaten Lithuanian Pavelas Nevedomskis, AKA Paul Drago, (3-0) will fight fellow unbeaten Lloyd Davies (1-0, 1). Although Davies is unbeaten like Drago he is viewed as the under-dog having fought at Cruiserweight in his only previous contest more than a year ago.
On the same show Adam Machaj (1-0, 1) will put his unbeaten record on the line against a yet to be named opponent.
