This Friday is one of those life-support type of days unfortunately despite some decent fighters actually being in action.
One of those decent fighters is American puncher Donovan Dennis (9-0, 8) who is set to take on Nat Heaven (8-0, 6). Dennis is a promising fighter with nice power though his best win is over the very stoppable Travis Fulton, who was beaten in 2 rounds. As for Heaven he's not fought since last November and hasn't faced anyone of any real note, though of course he unbeaten and this should make for an interesting clash.
Another decent fighter in action is Russian puncher Andrey Fedosov (24-3, 19) who is attempting to bounce back from his loss to Bryant Jennings last year. As with Dennis however Fedosov appeard to be opponentless and is unlikely to be matched with anyone of any note as a result.
One bout that has been confirmed stateside is one between the 39 year old Charles Ellis (8-1-1, 7) and once beaten novice Landon Dirks (2-1-1). Dirks was stopped last year by Brandon Carmack, the younger of the two fighting Carmack's, and drew with the infamous Richard Dawson, of Freddie Flintoff fame. Although Dirks deserved a victory over Dawson this is a tougher assignment and Ellis, even at his advanced age, will be expected to pick up the victory.
We believe the only European match publically announced so far is in Hungary as Attila Zsiros (1-1-1, 1) battles Zoltan Toth (2-1, 2) in a very low level match up.
