The only Heavyweight bout, any where in the world was at the Convention Towers and Exhibition Center in Hong Kong as Frenchman Oliver Prevost (1-0) got off to a winning start to his professional career. Prevost, looking trim and fit at the weigh-in yesterday managed to claim a clear decision (40-36 twice and 39-37) over fellow debutant Keng Fai Lam (0-1) of Macau.
Aged 29 the potential of Prevost is questionable though it was still good to get a win in a part of the world where Heavyweights are an almost endangered species.
