One of those bouts was mismatch on paper and an equally big mismatch in the ring. This bout saw the unbeaten Ed Fountain (8-0, 3) over-come the very poor John Orr (1-3) who managed to see out the 6 round distance but never came close to winning a round. At over 297lbs Orr was more than 30lbs heavier than his debut and it seems clear he's not fighting to win.
Although Orr was out of shape he was apparently more svelte than the debuting Charles Rodger (0-1) who, from what we understand, resembled a tub of goo and not a professional boxer. According to boxrec Rodger was an unhealthy 430lbs and despite having around 170lbs of weight advantage he was unable to defeat Mike Wright (1-1, 1) who scored a 3rd round TKO. We've not seen a picture of Rodger but from what we under-stand he made Butterbean look in shape and it's an horrendous insult to the sport for someone to come in so out of shape.
