One such country is Modova which certainly isn't a country one associates with boxing but that hasn't prevented Constantin Bejenaru (5-0-0-1, 2) from being spoken about as a genuinely promising prospect. Bejenaru scored his first win of the year as he over-came Aaron Kinch (5-3-1, 1) via a unanimous decision. Although at 5'10" the 29 year old Moldovan has been compared to a young Mike Tyson and is aggressive enough and fun enough to keep a serious eye on over the coming years.
As well as Bejenaru, from Moldova, the Heavyweight division also had an all-Mexican clash on Thursday night. This fight saw Juan Manuel Dominguez Silva (4-2, 2) beaten in just 22 seconds as the debuting Fernando Fernandez (1-0, 1) made a very impactful start to his career. Dominguez Silva hasn't fought anyone of note though wouldn't have expected this loss, especially not this quickly
