We're not sure what is stranger here, the fact the bout was scheduled for just 3 rounds, or the fact that we had two guys with Scandinavian sounding names fighting each other in Australia. Whatever the case it seems like an interesting idea as this is the third all debutant Heavyweight clash we've seen in Australia scheduled for 3 rounds in the space of a week or so.
As well as the Australian bout there was also action in the UK and Argentina.
In Argentina Cesar David Crenz (21-7, 13) managed to over come Mariano Ruben Diaz Strunz (11-8-1, 6) in what was effectively an "over-the limit Cruiserweight contest". For Crenz this was his first victory in 3 bouts following back to back loses to unbeaten pair of Dmytro Kucher and Pawel Kolodziej.
The UK fight sa Kash Ali (5-0) taking his fifth successive decision as he overcame the win less James Oliphant (0-5-2). The 21 year old Ali, who is yet to lose a round as a professional, will be hoping to develop power, and at this early stage in his career that is certainly possible, though at the moment we do worry about his power.
