We'll start with that over-looked fighter who was Nat Heaven (9-0, 7). Heaven took a chance by accepting a TV fight with the unbeaten Donovan Dennis (9-1, 8) who had been viewed by some as a genuine prospect to keep an eye on. Heaven wasn't bothered about the reputation of his foe and at the very end of the opening round he landed a monster right hand that dropped Dennis who was then stopped on rubbery legs by the referee. With this fight airing on ESPN we're sure Heaven made new fans with his explosive KO shot that will see him welcomed back with open arms.
Another bout in the US saw Russian banger Andrey Fedosov (25-3, 20) stop US veteran Maurice Harris (26-19-2, 11) who has now been stopped 12 times in his 47 fight career. Harris has now lost 4 of his last 5 and 5 of his last 7and it would seem likely that he's now coming to the end of his career. For Fedosov this was a return to winning ways following his loss to Bryant Jennings 10 months ago.
In Russia the unbeaten Cruiserweight-come-possible Heavyweight Ruslan Faifer (3-0, 1) out pointed Ibragim Khalilov (4-2-2, 2) over 6 one sided rounds. The bout, a shut out out for Faifer, showed the class difference between the two men despite Faifer being the lesser experienced of the two men.
In Hungary Zoltan Toth (3-1, 3) managed to make light work of the debuting Jozsef Rafael (0-1) who was stopped inside a round.
