The most interesting bout of the day is in the UK as Sam Sexton (18-3, 7) rematches the hugely controversial Larry Olubamiwo (10-4, 9). Olubamiwo, who tested positive for a banned substance after his first fight with Sexton, lost via technical decision when the two men first met back in 2012. Our view is that Olubamiwo should have got a life time ban though it seems that drug cheats are welcomed back in to boxing. As Olubamiwo is allowed to box, still, we will certainly be cheering on Sexton.
The same British card has Matt Legg (6-2, 2) facing a yet to be named opponent.
On a separate British card the promising and unbeaten AJ Carter (5-0, 3) will be attempting to extend his winning run as he takes on the big punching Lukas Filka (6-3, 5). Filka, of Slovakia, has won his last 4 by stoppage though they have been at a very low level.
Another British show sees novice Andy Jones (1-0) taking on the durable and highly experienced Remigijus Ziausys (20-56-5, 10). It's a great test for Jones given that Ziausys has been in with numerous top fighters though should be a passable test.
In mainland Europe there are fights in both France and Germany. The French bout will see David Spilmont (2-2, 1) fighting against Gyorgy Novak (3-1, 1) in what can only be described as a low level contest whilst in Germany Samir Nebo (3-1-1, 3) takes on a yet to be named opponent.
Outside of Europe there is a bout in both North and South America.
In Canada fans will get to see Troy Talbot (2-1, 1) fight against Donald Willis (1-3) whilst in Brazil Adilson Da Silva Santos (6-3, 3) is in action against a yet to be named opponent.
